If you would like to give a portrait to someone but think they would like to choose their own photograph, not a problem we issue 'Gift vouchers' which are valid for 1 year.

If you have your dog with you on holiday or live nearby we can photograph them for you. Alternatively you can send your photograhs to us at the gallery either by e-mail or snail mail. The best bit about our service is there is no deposit required (except large oils, which is refundable).

If you don't like the painting when we send you a proof you don't need to buy it!!!

These top four paintings are samples of pen and watercolour paintings done to commission. The prices for these start at £90.00 for a 10x7inch painting about A4 size of one animal (add £40.00 for an extra animal) which comes mounted to fit into a 14x11 inch frame.

It is a helpful hint when photographing your animals to take the pictures outside as the natural light brings out the true colour of the animals coat. The more detailed the photograph the better, this is also true when e-mailing them to us, please send the larger version of the images.

Larger pen & watercolour paintings for example 14x10inch are £120.00 for one animal (add additional £50.00 for extra animals). These are about A3 size and fit into a 20x16 inch frame and come to you complete with mount ready for framimg. Another bonus of our service is that postage is charged at the going rate for special delivery, we don't add on any extra for packaging. You only pay what the Post Office charges us. Timescale depends on the ammount of work in hand and the medium you want your painting in, oils take a lot longer to paint and to dry (approx 8 weeks for oils) than the pencil portraits. When you put your order in we will try to give you the best idea of timescale we can. If it's really urgent we will do our best to fit it in to meet your deadline.

Pencil drawings look beautiful and natural, and are priced very competively for the perfect gift. 10x7" pencil portraits start at £60.00 and the 14x10" size are excellent value starting at only £80.00.

For multiple animals in pencil drawings add 25.00 to the 10x7" size & 35.00 to the 14x10" size.

Full body pencil drawings add 25.00 to the 10x7" size and add 35.00 to the 14x10" size per animal.

It can be quite hard to get sufficient detail from camera phone pics as they are so small, so get that digi camera out and start snapping away. Take photos outside for better coat colour matching, even if the pic you choose is an indoor shot, sending a few outdoor ones does help.

The Oil/Acrylic paintings are done on stretched quality canvas, they can be painted on box style deep edged canvas to allow them to be hung without a frame.

Prices start at £145.00 for a 12x12"/30x30cm canvas and go up to about 32x32"/80x80cm at £550.00. But larger are available. We can do many other formats and sizes to suit your needs for multiple pets we adjust the canvas sizes accordingly.

The better quality the photograph the better the painting will be, larger size digital images are much better for working from as the ammount of detail is vastly improved. Don't worry about clutter in the backgrounds etc, we are artists' and this can be eliminated. Colars and dog name tags can be added as can a favourite toy, at no extra cost (as long as it's not the size and detail of the animal itself). A large selection of photographs is always a good idea as is a breif description about the animal which helps to build a character reference.

We take photographic records of all the paintings we deal with and the gallery and the artist retain the right's to use the painted images in publicity, advertising on web sites and also retain the right's for printing and reproduction of the works. No work can be reproduced in any format or licenced without explict written consent from the artist.

Square format paintings are only suitable for single animals, for multiple animals we need to change the canvas format to fit the animals, which is not a problem.

We also offer a print-on-demand service if you would like additional printed reproductions of your final painting for other family members who maybe live elsewhere, we can do this in various sizes, to suit your budget, all will be signed by the artist.

Printed blank greetings cards are also available on request which are all handmade and signed by the artist.

Don't worry if you have multiple animals you would like in the same painting, the photo's can be taken seperately, we can put them together as one painting for you. I know having 4 dog's myself there is no way I can get a perfect photo of them all together at once. All posted photo's will be looked after well and returned to you with your painting.
